Indicator Setup — TradingView

The TraderSQ85 indicator is a proprietary PineScript v6 indicator for TradingView. It's designed for IWM, QQQ, and SPY options on 3-minute and 5-minute charts during the NY session.

01
Access your indicator script

After purchase, you'll receive access to the TraderSQ85 script via TradingView's Invite-Only Scripts system. Check your Whop welcome email for instructions.

02
Open TradingView and navigate to Indicators

On any chart, click the Indicators button at the top of the screen (or press /).

03
Search for "TraderSQ85" under Invite-Only

In the Indicators panel, click the Invite-Only Scripts tab. You should see TraderSQ85 listed if your TradingView account is correctly linked.

04
Add it to your chart

Click TraderSQ85 to add it to your chart. The indicator will display Order Block detection, FVG zones, signal confirmation overlays, and TP/SL levels.

05
Set your primary charts

Create a layout with IWM, QQQ, and SPY open on 3m and 5m timeframes with the indicator applied to each. Save this as your "TraderSQ85 Session" layout.

ETF Priority Order: IWM → QQQ → SPY. If you see setups on multiple charts simultaneously, IWM gets priority. The indicator is validated on 3m and 5m — do not use on other timeframes without understanding the signal context.

Note: Access is tied to your TradingView username and Whop subscription. Sharing your indicator access violates our Terms of Service and will result in immediate account termination without refund.

Alert Setup

Set up alerts so you're notified in real time when a signal fires — even when your eyes are off the chart.

01
Right-click on the chart

With the TraderSQ85 indicator applied, right-click anywhere on the chart and select Add Alert.

02
Set condition to TraderSQ85

In the alert dialog, set the Condition dropdown to TraderSQ85 and select the alert condition (CALL signal or PUT signal).

03
Set notification method

Enable Pop-up and Email at minimum. If you have TradingView mobile, enable Push Notifications for mobile alerts.

04
Name your alert clearly

Use names like "TSQ85 IWM 3m CALL" and "TSQ85 QQQ 5m PUT" so you know at a glance which chart and direction fired.

05
Repeat for each ETF and timeframe

Create CALL and PUT alerts for each of your active charts (IWM 3m, IWM 5m, QQQ 3m, etc.). You'll need a TradingView plan that allows multiple simultaneous alerts.

Alert messages: Alerts are intentionally generic ("TraderSQ85 - CALL" / "TraderSQ85 - PUT") to protect the proprietary logic. The ETF and timeframe come from the chart the alert was created on.

Using Your Premium Trading Journals

The TraderSQ85 premium trading journals are browser-based tools — no app to download, no login required. Your data lives in your browser's localStorage.

The 4 Day Types — what to log every day:

📈 Trade Day
ETF, direction, contract price, TP1/2/3, P&L, EQ state, SQ note, chart screenshot
⚫ No Trade
EQ state, why you passed, what the chart looked like — always include a screenshot
🌅 Saturday · Rest
What you did to recharge. No chart, no screenshots — step away completely.
📓 Sunday · Reflection
Week in review, EQ patterns, what you're working on, intention for next week. Complete your TQA.

Browser rules: Always use the same browser on the same device. Never use Incognito/Private mode. Export your CSV at least once a week as a backup. Save after every entry.

Important: Clearing your browser history, cache, or storage will delete your journal data permanently. There is no cloud backup — your data is local only.

The 17 EQ States

Every journal entry requires you to identify your EQ state — your emotional and psychological state at the time of the decision. This is the most important field in the journal. Patterns in your EQ data reveal where your psychology is costing you money.

Positive states (associated with good execution):

Clarity
Detachment
Emotional Neutrality
Focused
Patient
Risk Mgmt

Watch states (require self-awareness):

Anxiety
Boredom Trade
Confusion
Emotional
Fear
FOMO
Greed
Impatient
Overtrading
Revenge Trading
Strategy Drift

How to use this: After 30 days, filter your journal by EQ state. If your losing trades cluster around "Impatient" or "FOMO," that's your work. The Dashboard tab shows your top EQ states automatically.

TQA — Trader Quotient Assessment

The TQA is your weekly homework — 25 questions across the 5 SQ dimensions, rated 1–5. Complete it every Sunday as part of your reflection day. 13 weeks of TQA data across Vol 1 Genesis is required before advancing to Vol 2 Formation.

Scoring guide:

1
Strongly Disagree
2
Disagree
3
Neutral
4
Agree
5
Strongly Agree

Total score is out of 125. Your target by the end of Week 13 is 68+/125 (55%) — this indicates readiness to advance to Vol 2. Track your weekly scores in the 13-Week History grid.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my journal data. Can you recover it?
Unfortunately no — journal data is stored locally in your browser and we have no server-side copy. This is why we recommend exporting CSV weekly. If you switched browsers or cleared your cache, the data cannot be recovered.
The indicator is not showing in my TradingView Invite-Only Scripts.
Make sure your TradingView username is correctly entered in your Whop profile, and that your subscription is active. Contact us at tradersq85@gmail.com with your TradingView username and Whop email.
Can I use the indicator on other timeframes or ETFs?
The indicator is validated and taught on IWM, QQQ, and SPY on 3m and 5m timeframes. You can experiment with other settings, but signals on other timeframes have not been validated and we cannot provide education context for them.
How long do I need to complete Vol 1 before moving to Vol 2?
90 calendar days (13 weeks). You need all 13 TQA assessments completed. The 90-day completion is a prerequisite for Vol 2 Formation — it ensures strategy mastery, not just familiarity.
I need to cancel. How do I do that?
Cancel through your Whop account dashboard. Access continues through the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
